Its been quiet some time I didnt get to eat a proper chicken rice.. Dear brought me to his old-time place to try this very good signature boiled chicken @ Balestier Road. He said he always came to this restaurant to eat woo... mm... so, I think I should give myself a chance to try try and see ya ^^
When I first stepped into this restaurant, it was like FULL with people!! only left 1 table.. so, without hesitating, we ran to that table.. lol.. like ging na hor? hahah~~
They very high tech, even have their own signature wet tissue for customer
even chopstick!!
this is black vinegar~ to mix with the soup..
the STAR of the day!! Signature Boiled Chicken~~!! I wow when i put the chicken into my mouth!! sooo smooth, soooo soft!!!!
$5, $10, $15, $30 for different portion
The rice here is simply special compare with other restaurant.. duno how they made.. tasty!! and the rice are so "obedient" which not stick together kind.. haha.. A star star ★ for this 1 ~~^^ only $0.50 each!!
Thick soup with crab meat , Fish maw and beancurb. Nice~! must mix with the vinegar ya^^~ $15, $20, $25 for small, medium and big portion ~
Steamed assorted eggs. This 1 not so good.. a bit too salty... then again, if its not salty it wont be called as assorted eggs ma.. right.. hahah.. $8
Beside selling their signature boiled chicken, they sell "zi cha" also.. which means local dishes~
Can u imagine how nice is the chicken?? U see the queue... haha~~ know the answer??
Heard from dear that actually this restaurant operated for quiet some time already, i think 20 years?? since dear started his uni life here until now. They expended from a small chicken rice stall into today, 3 restaurants.. and added on selling zi cha also... wow~ good job !! ^^ I rate the chicken here ★ ★ ★, because its really nice~~ the chicken is soooo soft which I ate the breast meat also! ( i rarely eat breast meat. or should i say I hate breast meat normally.. haha.. but I was surprise which I enjoy eating here~)
And then har, they have many branches woo~ so geng.. this 1 I went was Balestier Outlet
