fat cow

Im a steak lover all the while. Medium rare is the best for my belly!!

Was surfing a really good steak place for my birthday dinner and I found this via one of my very high class student. LOL.. sounds creepy cause of the location. haha its at the medical centre.. hahaha!!!

The decoration attracted my first glance when I stepped into this really really good restaurant.. haha.. they have a corner for the guest to chill and wait for their friends ~~ So the bar tender made us a very good welcome drink while I was waiting for my friend Jasmine :) really good kind =)

The escort brought us to a very special seat which we can see how those chef make us dinner.. hahah :) I can see from they sliced the beef from different parts of the cow until its done in front of me.. cool man!!

So, for appetizer, our personal escort introduced us this very super damn good + thumbs Foie Gras (goose liver)! OMG!! I can't resist it!!! its soooooooo damnnnNNNnnnnn gooodddd!!!!!!!  give 5 stars can?? hahah!!! its not in the menu, you will have to request from the escort.. :) Im Foie Gras lover, so yea~ ^^ feel heavenly when I first put it into my mouth! melt on my tongue man!! hahah!!

very good Foie Gras

The next appetizer was this > >
Wagyu Ox Tender & Foie Gras

Yea, I know its foie gras again.. I LOVE IT!!!! hahha!! plus its my birthday ya~ so whats the big deal for eating twice foie gras as appetizer? as long as I'm happy on my big day~~ hahah!!!! Foie Gras you ROCK!!!!

This is fried scallop.. super big scallop.. XP

Because Jasmine couldn't eat beef, so I ordered this super good fish for her~ Cod Fish ^^ Its really really nice.. the fats and the meat are just nice to be together when you put into your mouth~ but because of my beef, I got to save my tummy from this~ hahah!!!
Delicious Cod Fish~

Here you go my SUPER DELICIOUS + MARVELOUS AUSTRALIAN PRIME A3!!!
Australian Prime A3

Actually I wanted to order A5, but the chef said A5 is having more fats than A3, and its more suitable for shabu shabu.. haha~~ and >> this A3 is really really super duper nice!!!

I ordered macadamia ice cream as our dessert for the night.. its totally different from Haagen Dazs .. Its very super smooth and you can merely bite the macadamia pieces :)

Fat Cow is a really really good place to have beef bites.. I strongly recommended !! Give 5 stars!!
For the price, I don't really remember how much of each dishes.. but for the dishes I stated above, we spent about nearly $500 :) Its worth anyway.. hahah!! Love my birthday treats~~

Attached the map and the contact here. Don't forget to make a reservation before you step in :)

Chiang Mai ( Oct 2012 )

This trip was actually 4D3N but something went wrong on the first day and its really exciting. Our plane ran away jor.. LOL.... its not because we reached airport late but because the stupid AA counter shown some mistake... ARRGGHHH!!! But because of our eagerness, we wanted to make this trip no matter how!! LOL

Ran to the customer service counter, we booked another two tix for the next day. oh yea!

So, we arrived our cozy home in ChiangMai called Singha Montra. Niceeee cooOooLLLLL cozzzyyyy stay there~~!! La la la ~~ Love it sooooo much~~

So we took this Elephant safari tour (T1008) by travel hub http://www.travelhubchiangmaitours.com cost 900thb per pax
Elephant safari tour brought us to orchid farm, bamboo rafting, ox-carting, elephant show and a complimentary lunch in Maetaman elephant camp.

Bamboo rafting

After the day, we decided to have a nice cruising dinner at Mae Ping River. On the dinner cruise we get to enjoy the traditional thai food and seeing parts of the city usually inaccessible to most visitors.

On the next day, we visited the highlights on this trip~ KAREN VILLAGE and THE WHITE TEMPLE!!
Same thing we let travel hub to manage this trip also (T1012). This is the combination on visiting the fascinating long neck village, Chiang Rai province and the Golden Triangle. Cost us 1200baht per pax.

As the previous day, travel hub arranged transport to our hotel to pick us up. Our first destination of the day is Mae Kha Jan Hot Spring. Me and my friend had our early morning fish spa there before we proceed our journey to the white temple~
Mae Kha Jan Hot Spring

And here we go THE INCREDIBLE WHITE TEMPLE!!!!!

After that we continue up to the Golden Triangle for a boat trip across the Mekong River to the Lao side. Children in poverty approached us when we touched down.. sympathy on them but can't help.. T.T

After the boat trip, we visited Mae Sai the thai border town with Myanmar for some shopping and local food trying.

On the last day, we caught the tour to visit Bhubing palace and the famous temple in Chiang Mai, Doi Suthep temple.
Bhubing palace is the royal residence in Chaing Mai where the Royal family stays during seasonal visit to the people in the northern part of the country. It was built in 1961. A nice and chilly place.

There are some Do and Don't when u visit Doi Suthep temple.
- Dress politely, do not wear shorts
- Show respect int he temple and shrine
- Take off your shoes before entering the platform around the Golden Chedi
- Keep your head lower than Buddha images and monks
- Don't touch the Buddha images
- Don't display affection for another person in public
- Always keep clean

You'll get this list when you purchase the ticket at the entrance

Well, these are the places I visited when I went Chiang Mai. The most regretful thing in this trip was we missed the game on the first day. FLIGHT OF THE GIBBON!!! I bought the most platform package... arrgghhh!! hahaha
