Singapore (September 2010) II

Basically this time Singapore visit was to meet up with Landa jer jer. And I only realized I have lost her contact number when I arrived Singapore, what a BIG HEAD PRAWN am I!!! aiseh!!! And luckily we have Wilson to post something on my wall in FB and Landa replied something on it at the moment I tried to online early in the morning... wow!! Thank God!!

This trip was actually a very "art" trip..hehe, because we have been to some very "art" places...hoho^^

At first we went to Alive Gallery. Its a very new experience for me in art appreciation cause Alive Gallery makes its debut in Southeast Asia I think.. lol, not very sure, but I never been to this kind of gallery in my life before^^

We actually have a talk with Mona Lisa there, asking her got how many children.. amazing right??!! hehe... its true!!! and we went to this Café Terrace at Night , it is an oil painting on a primed canvas executed by a dutch artist called Vincent van Gogh in France.. Actually there's five unique section in the gallery from ancient time to the renaissance. Such as Ancient Art, The World of Gods, The World Viewed through Science, Pictures are Recording and Thinking Art. Different section brings you different views of hidden secrets of their timeless beauty..^^

Because of cannot take picture in the gallery, so I didn't get really much picture there..

After that, we went to Singapore Art Museum (art again..haha).. And I found its a very nice place to go if you're an art person. Same as Alive Gallery, they separated the museum into few section, which I cant even spell out the name of each. But the "Learning Gallery" was the most impressed me. I dont know why. Maybe I still miss my student life so much. hehe. The Learning Gallery is actually dedicated to present SAM's collection I think, and its suitable for young visitor.. (on my point of view, hehe). For me, the artworks there are selected to develop analytical thinking among young people.. errmm... Anywhere, you wont regret if you have a chance to visit there.

And then we headed to out most waiting activity of the day --->HIPPOTOUR!!!!! wahahah!!!! tour around Singapore river.. And I get to see the famous "durian head", Merlion, Singapore flyer, Marina Bay Sands in the tour..wohooo~~!!!!

Then comes to the end of the day, we went to Marina Bay Sands to have dinner with dear cause he having some "meeting" with "Uncle $$" there. And of cause after dinner, Landa and me went to the Skypark. Its an awesome place on 200 meters high in the sky with super windy and chilling air which you can have the Best Best view of Singapore!!!!

Beautiful Singapore view from Skypark

wow!! its really amazing!!! And we have some "special" activity after the skypark. heehee, I think I no need to write this down on my blog, because I know some people sure laugh at me if I do this. hahaha.... want to know? then you go to ask Landa.. heheheeee....^^
