Cambodia ( May 2012 )

Basically this trip was special dedicated to my mom, because I have not been travel with her..
Reason we chose this place, Siem Reap was because Angkor Wat is one of the seven wonders..
We had chosen to stay in this nice hotel, Paradise Angkor Villa. Its really a fantastic hotel in terms of their services... The price is reasonable as well.. Strongly recommend this good hotel.

For this trip, I have reserved a private driver for my 4 days itineraries. He is really a good driver. Patience, Funny, Friendly, and willing to go for extra miles for our trip. And the most important is, he is a very experience driver and can really communicate in good english~ well... hahaha

Just mention my name, Irise. And he may give u a good price :) hahaha

Below are the temples I visited in this trip.. From the South Gate to Banteay Srey... all nice nice yea~~

Do you watch Tomb-Rider? If Yes, then you'll know this place.. this is the place they filmed the movie~

Ballon ride over Angkor Wat is a Must-Do-Thing in this place. The ticket for this ride is US$15 per person and its about 15 minutes ride. You can see Angkor Wat, Bakheng Hill from the top..

The local people called this as the swimming pool of the King. wow~! Its called Sras Srorng. Nature Swimming Pool yea~ LOL... Its located opposite of the Khmer Village Restaurant.
In this trip, we do sunrise viewing in this lake instead of Angkor Wat. And please take note the sunrise at about 5:30-5:45am.

For food, Asok is a Must-Eat-Food in Cambdia.. they Asok fish, Asok chicken..
Asok

Coconut is also a MUST there~ Bargain with the people to get cheaper juicy coconut~!!

Well, beside Asok, we also had buffet with Cambodian's traditional dancing performance (Aspara) in Koulen Reataurant Sivatha Street.. Its a good experience which you can have local buffet with local performance in the same time.

Aspara

Here is the Angkor night market and pub street. I personally like the Pub Street sooooo much!! Very 48 happening!!

And here the climax of this trip~ The visiting to ANGKOR WAT!! Can u see Angkor Wat from far?? hehe

Tadaa~~!! The making of Angkor Wat~~!!

Beside Angkor Wat, we visited this place, Les Artisans d'Angkor, which is a workshop to redevelop traditional Cambodian artisan skills

To know more on the local life, we experienced the rides to floating village too.. Bought rice and drinks for the orphans there.. see how they live their life.. sympathy to the max..

On the last day, I wanted to have something different from others' Siem Reap trip and ended up I took this Quad Bike sunset tour. It cost US$28 for single bike and US$38 for double bike. If you are interested with this game, you can call +855(0)17784727, +855(0)92787216 for booking. Its a great experience though.. :)

Phuket (June 2011)

Welcome to Phuket!!!

I know its been almost a year after this trip but I was kinda busy till barely even have time to really sit down to blog. Anyway..yea, here is the blog about my phuket trip. LOL

I have been to Singapore to work for like 2 months, so me and my friend decided to have a relaxing trip in sum where around the world. Our initial plan was to Maldives but due to some crap reason, the plan blew~ :( sad nia.. Ended up we have decided to come here, Phuket in Thailand.

So this was the hotel we stayed. Online homework showing that its a newly renovated or built hotel half year ago.. Its a very new hotel - The Kee Resort.

My friend had given me a big surprise which giving me a couple room with jacuzzi!!! Wohoo!!! Jumping up and down.. hahah!!!!

The resort itself having spa room for guest also. and a huge swimming pool with a small bar in the middle~ nice yea~

Saw a few interesting things at the street~ HUSBAND DAY CARE CENTER??! @.@ LOL
and MASSAGE with strongly stated NO SEX!! wahahha!! LMAO!!!!

This is their traditional drinking game in Phuket. Which men are required to use a small hammer to hit the iron nail while women use the big hammer. If you cannot manage to hit the iron nail into the big wood with one hit, you got to drink the beer. Its like a game between a group of friends :) interesting, right? haha ~

This beach we went called Patong Beach. So basically is a very tourism place, and of cause you can see plenty of seafood restaurant here... very big lobster, clam, oyster..... hahha!! Yea, u're right, we have seafood dinner every night here...~~  finger licking.. LOL

See what we ordered for the first night itself!

Ohya, for hello kitty lover!! I FOUND THIS AT THE STREET!!! WHOLE SHOP OF HELLO KITTY STUFF!!

As we know, Thailand is a sleepless city yea. yea, u r right. Here u go!!

So basically, I have been in Patong Beach, one of the nice beach in Phuket... Spent my 4 days at the beach, sun-tanning.. LOL... became red lobster.. hahah!!

Yea, tatto service at the beach.. LOL... Sassy!!!

This is the sunset of the beach... SOOOO NICE!!!!

My little friends when I was in Patong^^

The last thing about this blog is, you can see a lot of strange things at the street. Different kinds of food, people, and bla bla bla... hahahah~~

Ohya, at Patong, they have service which can bring u to different island like phi phi island, koh samui, chicken island and so on. But I didn't manage to go, because this trip was basically aim for Relaxing, so I was just leisuring around Patong~~~

Please kindly remember don't chop by the taxi around if you want to go to airport. They charge damn expensive! We got a taxi service next to the hotel which only costed us THB600 to airport! :)

Hehe!! Let's go Phuket!! ^^
