Korea (December 2010)

I have spent my Christmas in Korea last year (2010). Of cause is South Korea la... haha...

Its a very nice and worth visit place because they have very nice culture, and nice scene spot to see~

I still remember the arriving night.. Because of its winter and you know, winter is day short night long.. We didnt make it to our 1st destination as planned. So we just walked around the hotel we stayed, which is Best Western hotel that nearby city hall subway. And unexpected, we found this place, which is an extra place in our itinerary.. Cheonggyecheon stream ~ Its soooo nice there and I got a shocked when I saw their christmas decoration along the stream. Its sponsored by citybank.. Not only the cheonggyecheon stream, they even decorated the bus stop by writing the puzzle wish cards.. soooo creative and soooo nice!!!!

We went to Gyeongbokgung Royal Palace on the second day. Its an old time palace :) They have soldier exchange performance there every hour~ its a nice experience to see such performance :) haha~ all the soldiers wore their traditional costume. And they even have traditional band. haha! funny~

This is a very very nice place in the palace garden. All the lake water became ice neh~ haha

The next station is Insadong~ this is a very art and culture street which you can find every korea traditonal fancy stuff here :) AND 1 very IMPORTANT thing!!! We found a VERY VERY SUPER DUPER NICE BAKERY there!!! Crown Bakery!! Its just few steps away from Angguk subway~ hahaa!! Nice dou!!!




On the very 1st night, we went to N Seoul Tower for dinne in a revolving restaurant~ can see how the people out there enjoying their traffic^^ haha I'm so mean!!


This is in the Teddy Bear shop in N Seoul Tower. Its the shop, not museum ya ^^ haha. And they have this christmas wishes writing cards activity. Which you can write your wishes on the cards provided and hang it on the Christmas tree. After all, we get 2 piggy warmers for FREE!! hahaha!!!

This is in Korean Folk Village. Its the place the movie Dea Jang Geum taken. hehe. In this place we have watched a very "dangerous" performance by an uncle. WALKING ON THE ROPE!!!!

Here's Everland, the 3rd largest theme park in the world! haha~ Santa Claus there!!! and Christmas Parade as well!! Wee~~~~ ^.^




This is a very very nice and still, very very nice place to visit. Its the Winter Sonata movie taken place.. Nami Island~

Soooooo nice!!!!! no matter in spring or winter!!!


We took 3 hours from Seoul to this place.. Mount Sorak~ haha, I still remember the day when we were in the bus, I was soooooooooo nervous that we might lost in no way, because its been almost 9pm and we were still not arriving the place. hahahaha~~!!! But the bus driver was so nice, he stopped us at the roadside of the hotelssss, easier for us to find our hotel. :)


The wind was soooooooooo strong there that day. Its -13'C and the wind came like -20'C !!! COld like HEll man!!! hahah~~~ but its so nice to be in this kind of weather (keke *evil)

And ya, MYEONG-DONG!!!! Girlsss' paradise!!! sooooooooo many facial shop and fashion house there!!! You even can see 2 same shops in a row!!! hahah!! And they gave out free gift to every customer who went into their shop, NO MATTER YOU BUY or not!!!! hahah!!!





This is in a bulding @ Myeong-dong. Forgot the exact name of this place > korean culture what what... emmm... haha, they provided free costume wearing to shoot, and some cultural classed for you to join for FREE!! wee~~ Korean are so good!! so many free things!!!


After came back from shopping , we went to find a very Korean show called - NANTA!! haha, Nanta is a Must-Watch-Show when visit korea, right? Its an amazing show. A very new and creative show I have seen. we were so lucky to be invited to the stage to join their activities~ and after all, we got FREE meaningful souvenir from them!! ya, again FREE!! hahahah!!!!




Did u ever heard of Korean eat doggies' meat?? no no no, thats not true! We didnt see any doggies hanging around.. but another thing that should try out was their BBQ!!! soooooooooooooo nice!!!!!!!! hahah!! And another food is KIMCHI!!! hahaa... I never eat it when I was in Malaysia's korean restaurant! cause it taste soooo awful!! but now, ya, I ate sooo many kimchi!! so nice!!!!

Swear I will come back this place again! Eventhough its near, but I think I still need sometime to come back.... BYE BYE SEOUL!!!!
